My wife is wicked smart.

So Aina received her second masters degree a couple days ago in counseling. I couldn't be more proud of her for her hard work....I also couldn't feel more uneducated when I'm around her now. Thanks baby!

Hello. I am Caleb's daughter.

Charlotte 1 Month

This is my baby girl, Charlotte. She was born 7.5 lbs and about 20 inches.

As you can see...she is cute. And by cute....I mean beautiful.

I prayed a very selfish and vain prayer while she was in the womb. I asked the Lord, "please don't give me one of those weird looking babies...you know...those babies that look weird...and their parents convince themselves psychologically that their baby isn't weird looking...but it is. It is. Yeah, one of those....Lord, please...if you're out there and you love me. Amen".

And He did! He did! Either that...or I'm just one of those parents from my prayer. But who cares....look at her!

Old friends

Aina and I were traveling to Wisconsin this past weekend and we happened to bump into the Shanes. That's what they're known as around these parts - "The Shanes". 6:30 am on Friday at Terminal E at DFW Airport. They were flying to Myrtle Beach for a conference, and we were traveling to Fond du Lac for a worship retreat. It was such a blessing to us to see them and spend just a few minutes with them.

Summer is over

Welp, after 2 months of mission work, our mexico chapter for 2007 ends. And nothing says "Welcome back to America" than a ginormous quesadilla and stack of french toast at Hash House A Go Go in San Diego. I love America.

Tattoos

In Mexico at night, it's easy to find new things to kill time. So we've been giving each other sharpie tattoos. Here is mine...scarying the daylights out of one of the students no less.

Transformers

So...I'm in Tecate, Mexico right now. I'll be here until July 30th.

Today, I spotted the following transformer on the side of the road trying to go all incognito on us, as if we wouldn't notice...

Here we are at O'Quigley's eating some nice irish food with some sweet tea. We are visiting Aina's parents in Destin, FL for a much desired vacation. And tonight....fireworks over a pipe. Good times.
